A left-hand drive 'F1' supplied new in Germany by Scuderia Auto Becker Finished in Grigio Titanio with a Nero leather interior Cambelt serviced in 2015 and further serviced in 2016 by a UK specialist Showing just over 67,000 km from new, equivalent to 38,000 miles Supplied with books, original tools, UK V5c and a fresh MOT In 1996, Ferrari introduced the 550 Maranello in a bid to revive their fabled line of grand tourers, and the 550 quickly proved to be an overwhelming success. Six years later, in 2002, the 575M Maranello appeared bringing with it a host of healthy updates adding additional potency to an already incredible car. Increasing the displacement of the V-12 by 250 cubic centimetres to 5748 ccs, resulted in 508bhp and 434lb/ft of torque, 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and an advertised top speed of 202 mph. The front end was slightly revised with newer headlights, a redesigned air intake and front spoiler, and the weight distribution was improved to 50/50. Two six-speed transmissions were available – a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli’s semi-automatic (electro-hydraulic manual) ‘F1’ gearbox. Further mechanical improvements included bigger brakes and an adaptive suspension set-up (the four independent suspension units are also controlled by the gearbox, to minimise pitch throughout the 200-milliseconds gear shift time). Inside, the interior was modernised and refreshed with an updated dashboard, trim, and steering wheel. This particular Ferrari 575 Maranello F1 was supplied new in Germany by Scuderia Auto Becker in 2002. The car is finished in Grigio Titanio with a Nero leather interior and black carpets, and other options included electric 'Daytona' seats and Nero brake callipers. After two years the car was imported into Spain, before finally arriving in the UK. In December 2015, the car was serviced and a new cambelt fitted along with a new intake manifold and subsequently, another service was carried out in 2016 by a marque specialist in the UK. The service book is now showing a total of eight stamps and the car is supplied with its driver’s manuals and original toolkit. Now reading just 61,135km, equivalent to just under 38,000 miles, this 575M is supplied with a new MOT, an Authorised Main Dealer Report, and represents incredible value at today’s attractive guide price.
