DESCRIPTION
The AC Cobra MKIV CRS was notable for several reasons. Firstly, rather than an aluminium body it was clothed in F1-style carbon fibre (CRS stands for Carbon Road Series). Secondly, at a launch cost of £38,950, it was the most affordable Cobra ever. The composite bodies were manufactured by Pro-Tech Motorsport Ltd - an off-shoot of the F3000 racing team owned and run by former disc jockey 'Kid Jensen'. The Ford 302 (5-Litre) engine drove through a five-speed manual gearbox. Suspension was by wishbones and coil springs all-round and braking by AP Racing ventilated discs at each corner. The total production run is thought to have been just 37 cars.
"Y27 COB" is number 27 of the 37 to off the production line. Built in 2001 by A.C. Cars Ltd in the Brooklands factory, Surry, England. It was not registered until 2004 when purchased by our vendor from the first keeper with the odometer showing 250 miles.
Finished in Silver with a dark blue stripe and matching blue leather interior all of which are in fine condition. Power is supplied by an Australian built 5 litre Ford 302 V8 which is in excellent order as it has only covered 7511 miles.
The original AC owners manual, with service stamps and documented receipts, can be found in the history file along with prior MoT cerrtificates. "Y27 COB" has been maintained to the standard that should be expected of a two owner 7500 mile classic car.
Accompanying the car is a wet weather soft top and tonneau cover along with the distinctive registration number "Y27 COB".

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
