DESCRIPTION
The M3 when launched in 1986 was the first purpose built BMW saloon specifically designed to race. It was a 'homologation special' taken to the ultimate extreme with wheelbase and track optimised for racing, a high revving powerful 2.3 litre four cylinder 16 valve engine, a close ratio 5 speed gearbox with a direct drive top gear, purposeful square arches and fully optimised suspension and brakes. Only available in left hand drive and priced at a hefty £26,000 in the day - it was unsurprising that only a very limited number of cars came to the UK. However, they completely dominated on the race track with Touring Car titles claimed Internationally, including the most prestigious UK and German Touring car crowns.
This car is a 1988 E30 M3 originally supplied to the German market that has now been prepared for fast road and track day use. The engine has been swopped for a 2.5 litre block rebuilt by the renowned BMW specialist, Ross Cockburn, now giving around 250bhp. The car has also had a Safety Devices bolt in roll cage fitted along with competition high back seats and harnesses, a strut brace and competition brake pads.
The car looks sharp today having recently been repainted inside and out and comes with an MOT until Spring next year. A great fun and inexpensive trackday saloon - Gold Track here we come!

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
