Friday the 22nd November will see one of the finest auctions of hypercars and supercars to be offered as 50 lots of rare, extreme, minimal mileage and one-offs to be offered at the Riyadh Car Show hosted by Silverstone Auctions.
Nick Whale Silverstone Auctions’ Managing Director commented: “This is an incredible auction, to have 50 of these types of cars being offered out here in Riyadh is astonishing.”
“The level of cars being offered for sale is out of this world. Such is the nature of this auction we had a few last-minute consignments which we were very happy to accept due to their provenance.”
One of the stand-out cars in the auction is the 2015 Mclaren P1 XP Carbon, one of just five produced and rebuilt by Mclaren Special Operations where all the standard panels were replaced on the pre-delivered car with full carbon. This one has red accents on it making it a very striking car. This particular car is Saudi registered and has just 1,002km on the clock making it a very desirable car for any hypercar collector.
Moving down the age range the next lot is the 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary Edition, one of 50 produced to celebrate the marques 2004 anniversary. All the cars were produced in the colour of Verde Artemis and this one has only 370km on the clock and is in outstanding condition as you would expect. The interior is new with the driver’s side finished in Grigio Syrius perforated leather and the passenger side in smooth black leather. A beautiful looking car with 571bhp, a V12 engine and four-wheeled drive taking it to 100kph in 3.8 seconds.
Our next lot is one of the definitive classics, the 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS in lightweight configuration. Regarded by many as the ultimate of all Porsches, this left-hand-drive version was delivered new to Italy in the rare colour scheme of Emerald Green. In 2013 it underwent a full restoration by Bale Motorsport in Germany and has been in Dubai since 2013. This well-restored glorious looking Porsche comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a history file outlining its ownership.
Moving to 1970 we have a stunning Ferrari Dino 246 GT with an incredible 4,300km on the clock. Built to honour Alfredo Ferrari the only legitimate son of the great Enzo and utilizing the V6 engine developed by him, this is one of the classic designs of the seventies still admired today. Finished in the classic colour combination of Rosso with Crema and with such low mileage, this is a car for any Ferrari collector.
Nick continued: “As you can see from the cars outlined in this release, there are some very special cars available. We would encourage anyone who wishes to bid at this auction to register in advance for absentee bidding on the phone, online or via a commission bid. We wouldn’t want you to miss out.”
