DESCRIPTION
Porsche introduced the 912 in 1965 as the successor to the 356; it had all the modernity of the 911 and trusted mechanics of the outgoing 356. In 1966 it actually outsold the 911 worldwide but the UK was slow to acknowledge the great handling and looks as the USA market couldn't get enough. This has become significant as the comparatively low numbers sold in the UK means that today we have to look to the US to satisfy prospective European owners of this 'cult classic'.
Offered here is an original US car that was owned by Duane Spencer, the author of 'The Complete Porsche 912 Guide'. As the title suggest, it's a very comprehensive guide (copy included) and offers a good, informative read for a prospective buyer.
Finished in Guards Red with new black interior, this 912 is restored to a very good standard. Also fitted is the factory option 5-speed dog-leg gearbox and five dial dash. The history file contains a lot of hand written accounts by Duane Spencer and catalogues the expenditure lavished on this pretty 912. It also contains a recent invoice showing an engine rebuild and new clutch amounting to over £6,000 and comes with an MOT until April 2014.
As the price of early 911s continues to rise, the 912 version represents a realistic alternative with 'icon status' and superior handling to match.

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
