No expense has been spared in the build and running of this car which has raced at some of the major classic events around the world, including Goodwood in 2014 and 2019, Classic Le Mans, Tour Britannia, Tour Auto and even the Mille Miglia.

Sold by Dennis Welch Motorsport, originally to Tarek Mahmoud who campaigned the car with great success and subsequently, in 2017, via renowned Healey driver and marque expert, John Chatham, to our vendor who has used the car sparingly at significant historic races here in the UK.

Earlier this year the cylinder head was removed for an inspection which confirmed all is well with new carburettors fitted at the same time, and the gearbox was rebuilt by Billy Bellinger and fitted with a new competition clutch. The FIA HTP papers have been renewed at a cost of £1,000 (plus an FIA compliant windscreen fitted at another £1,000!), plus the brake system has been gone through with new master cylinders fitted. Since then it has just competed for 30 minutes at the 2021 Donington Historic Festival, so is very much on the button and ready to use. Complete with a new mohair tonneau cover, spare differential, road wheels and tyres and competition tyres used only once, it's ready to go and compete at some of the best historic races in the world.
