DESCRIPTION
This particular Chevron is thought to be the penultimate B42 chassis of the 21 constructed in period. After extensive research, checking its history and provenance with Chris Smith (Chevron Cars) and Vin Malkie (Chevron Racing), our vendor purchased the single seater in 2009. Having lain unused for a number of years, a total rebuild was required to bring up to the required standard with the brief being to create the best B42 possible leaving 'no stone unturned'. With that in mind, the work was entrusted to Chevron Racing as the skill and dedication of the many former Chevron employees who had built the car in period would once again produce the required result. Once completed, the single seater was inspected by the FIA and a new Historic Technical Passport issued with an expiry date of 2029 making the Chevron eligible for events worldwide.
An outstanding historic racing car restored to its correct period specification that is sure to bring great pleasure to its next custodian. With rebuild costs being well in excess of our listed guide price and, the fact that it was rebuilt by the same hands that constructed it in the first place, this has to be one single seater that is more than worthy of your serious consideration. Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate the potential on offer. A list of works carried out over the last 10 years can be sent upon request and a spares package is available by separate negotiation.

Any vehicles not collected by 2pm on Monday 29th August will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 29th onwards.
Automobilia can be collected from the Wing on the day of the auction or Monday morning between 9am and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
