SUMMARY
A unique opportunity to enhance a modern classic that starts and runs. Limited edition #126 is supplied with manuals, service book, V5C and was last MOT'd in 2014 - Offered Without Reserve.
DESCRIPTION
Introduced by Mitsubishi in December 1999 to celebrate Tommi Mäkinen’s four consecutive World Rally Championship wins, this limited-run model features a redesigned body kit, 10mm lower suspension with revised dampers, a helical front limited-slip differential, and a faster-spooling titanium turbocharger over the standard car. This example is number 126 of the 3,020 units produced, and is finished in Pyrenees Black Pearl with pinstripes on either side, white 17-inch Enkei alloy wheels, red Ralliart mudflaps and a black leather-trimmed interior with red piping and ‘T. Makinen Edition’ embroidery on the seats. The cabin is equipped with a MOMO steering wheel and air conditioning and the car also has an aftermarket air filter.
This Evo was built in 2000, first registered with the DVLA on 12th April 2001 and is believed to have had five owners from new. It has accumulated a fair amount of dust and general cosmetic defects while off the road, but the seller reports that it still starts and drives. The history file includes its V5C, owner’s book pack and a well stamped service book, the last of which was in 2010. It was last MOT'd on the 22nd September 2014 and has covered just 137 miles since, with the current odometer reading showing 58,834 miles at the time of cataloguing.
This car presents a unique opportunity to restore a modern classic for the future.
